Suggest Treatment For Itchy Scalp After Insect Bite

hello i just recently went on a camping trip in the olympic national forest for one night. during the trip we inncountered small gnat like flies that bite. the gnats did not leave any distinguishing bite marks, after returning home my scalp began itching very intensly as well as my face, eyes, beneath the nose and ears. i then noticed small black dots on various locations of my body from my feet, legs, butt, back, ,stomach, arms and neck. the area where the dots appear there are sensations of crawling and biting but not seeing any insects. this morning i did notice a small bug on my hand were i felt one of the biting sensation, it was black very small and tear shaped i watched it for a few moments before it jumped and flew away. the dots which i thought to be pimp or black head at first are under the skin and nearly impossible remove completely. some resemble new freckles but have stinging and itching sensations. i do not thing that the gnats or any insect is the cause of these symptoms, but did not want to leave it out of my discription or remove as a possible cause. aswell as the dots i have noticed small black slivers around infected areas and in my fingers and hands especially after itching my scalp. the black specks are the size of pepper grounds and are usually clustered near one another. any other info you may need i will send. any ideas on what this may be.
