Suggest Treatment For Itchy Scalp And Swelling
I have 9 staples in my scalp to close a 6 CT laceration. They ve been in 3 days. They re still pulling from swelling in the area, but they are itching like crazy. Is there anything I can use to help the itching without damaging the tissue, or prolonging the healing process?

You can apply lidocaine anti itch cream and take cetirizine 10 mg orally once daily to help relieve the itching. This will not affect the healing process.
