Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have numbness in both jaw lines that go up to the ear and I have a heart beat in my right ear. When on the computer which is 8 to 12 hours a day I am constantly dizzy. I do drink alcohol and when I do it intensivies the dizziness. When I dont drink the dizziness and numbness is still present
Dizzy is a difficult problem. You will need to discuss the complaint with a doctor. The important information that he or she will need is what you mean by dizzy and if the ear can be tied to it.
This is a common question in the office. To some people dizzy is a room spinning. To others, it it the sensation of light headedness prior to passing out. The sensations have different causes.
Dizzy like a room is spinning or imbalance may point to the ear as a source of difficulty. Therefore, the other question will be any change in hearing, ringing or unusual sounds in the ear.
If alcohol makes it worse. Don't drink.
