Hello dear Understand your concern Jock is due to fungal infections. It is itchy and recurrence chance is high. Exact diagnosis should be made by examination so consult the dermatologist. Doctor will do following investigations: KOH monut, cell culture to identify fungus etiology and blood test to identify other etiology. Doctor may provide following advice: String anti fungal terbifine orally plus antibiotics to prevent secondary infections. Apply topical clotrimazole plus hydocortisone ointment 2-3 times per day. You can also apply candid powder. Use simple unperfumed dove soap or liquid saop. Keep the area clean and dry and wear 100 percent pure cotton under garments. Avoid sweats in pelvic area and change garments frequently. Take proper treatment for 1 month to prevent recurrence. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
