Suggest Treatment For Joint Pain And Stiffness In Knees, Ankles, Fingers And Shoulders
I am having joint pain and stiffness in knees, ankles, fingers, shoulders. I am 52 yo, male and have not abused my joints in any way. Unfortunately my job is one where I sit all day. I am considering bike riding to get some exercise. What are your thoughts for something to relieve the pain.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to Rheumatoid arthritis . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order tests for rheumatoid factor , anti-CCP antibody , complete blood , c-reactive protein , erythrocyte sedimentation rate , joint ultrasound or MRI , joint x-rays and synovial fluid analysis . Doctor may prescribe methotrexate , sulfasalazine , celecoxib and corticosteroid drugs . Doctor may also recommend physical therapy . Also apply warm compresses to joints and drink plenty of water .
