Hello and welcome to HCM,
Continuous pain in the hip can be due to osteoarthritis.
Osteoarthritis is a age related degenerative condition of hip joint and other joints.
However, before considering osteoarthritis as the cause of hip pain, it is important to rule out other possibilities of hip pain.
A clinical assessment by an orthopedician and relevant investigations are required to diagnose the condition.
In initial stages of osteoarthritis, the findings may be very subtle and the diagnosis may be made on clinical grounds.
Thus, consultation with an orthopedician is required.

Thanks and take care
