General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Joint pain due to polyarthralgia can be relieved by taking Muscle relaxants & NSAIDS. However, the best way to keep pain under control is to maintain healthy weight, do regular exercises under a physiotherapist. Massage therapy & steroid shots are are also effective. However, it is better to get all investigations (blood tests, arthrocentesis & imaging tests - X-Ray, MRI , CT, etc) done & treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
