Suggest Treatment For Joints Pain After Discontinuing Folitrax

my wife age 63 is a arthritis patient.she was taking Folitrx 10 mg. but she left thismedicine from last 6 months .but now sveare pain has started in all the joints there is a swealing also on all the joints Even pain killer also does not effect. Please tell me if folitrx dose can be increased to 15mg weekly.please also suggest some strong&safe pain killer which can give immidiate relief also tell what is HCQS

I really appreciate your concern for your wife, Folitrex (Methotrexate ) is not the analgesic drug and this can not subside the pain, increasing the dose of this would makes no difference, for the pain you need to use any NSAID (Non-Steroid-Anti-inflammatory Drug) using potent analgesic is not advisable, HCQS (Hydroxychloroquine ) some time use in "Rheumatoid Arthritis" but this is to be taken under medical supervision, hope this information helps, take care.
