Hello sir, my wife has been dignosed with keratoconus last week and we had never heard about this desease before, left eye shows very thin cornea in topography which can t be treated by cross-linking and right eye can be treated but the doctor asked us to wait for three months to check for the progression?so what should i do ?should i go for second opinion to another hospital or i should wait for three months?
Hi and welcome to HCM, You have not mentioned the age of your wife. However kearatoconus, can be stabilized by cross linkage procedure and the progression can be stopped or at least delayed. I suggest you can go for a second opinion. All the best !!!
