Hello,

Unfortunately, it is common for diabetic patients to have urogenital problems/infection.

The air bubbles they noted in your bladder is because sweetie urine of a diabetic can cause air bubbles.

All the bladder and urethra discomfort is due to kidney stones. While they move through the urinary pathways, they can irritate them especially if they go through narrowed pathways such as the urethra.

Antibiotics alone can't help. You need to :
- increase fluids intake, especially plain water, tea especially uva-ursi and kidney stones tea
- kidney stone supplement should be used to dissolve the stones and flush them out the urinary tract
- take Spasmex or Buscopan for discomfort.

The shadow on your left kidney could be due to blockage of urinary pathways or possibly a stone. Wait for the ultrasound report first. Do not forget to increase fluids intake.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
