Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have extreme bloating. I have been to my primary along with many other doctors and hospitals and no one seems to have an answer. I also have 2 - 1/2 inch kidney stones (one on each side) the left stone in the lobe and not causing any pain but the right one moves and causes extreme pain at times. However, my urologist won t remove the right stone because he is afraid on infection. He also, was the only doctor who told me that my CT scan showed that my large intestine is full and spilling over into my small intestine. Still they do not seem to have any answers to all my bloating and gas, and that is why I am here trying to find out something myself.
* As per my surgical experience, large kidney stones has to be managed with either laser therapy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy or other surgical intervention to prevent further damage to kidney without delay.
* The spilling of large intestine into small can be of various reasons and same has to be co-related after complete evaluation of CT scan images if you can provide me during follow up conversation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
