Thanks. I ve got a kidney stone stuck right at the opening where it should come out of my body. I can even feel it with the tip of my finger. It s been stuck there for three days. I bleed bright red evey time I pee. Seems lodged pretty good. What should I do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the facts that you have posted you seem to have been detected to have a stone in the kidney and have the previous history of kidney stone fragmented by ESWL.

The modality of treatment for kidney stone is decided and depends upon following factors
1) Size of the stone
2) Site (Location of stone)
3) Effect of the stone on kidney function
4) Status of kidney function as determined by Renal Function Tests
5) Severity of symptoms

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
