Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I fell on my knee and landed full force on it, I was bruised on the front of my leg for about 2 weeks before it was gone. There is no swelling currently and normal day to day there is no pain, however, sometime the slightest touch on my knee can take my breath away it hurts so bad. Is this related to bruising the bone or could it potentially be worse?
I would recommend you to take MRi of the knee joint to see if there is any damage to ligament or meniscus. If there is no damage inside then you can safely take analgesics and rest. I would also suggest you to apply knee brace to prevent any sudden movement.
