Suggest Treatment For Knot On Head After Injury

I got hit on the back of my head hard 4 months ago just above my occiputal bone (?). I never saw anyone or put ice on it. Now I have a knot there and it doesn t feel right to lay on it. Will this go away? What can I do to make it go away? I just read it is calcified blood and that can be dangerous.

Hi,

There is no need to worry. It is just likely a fibrous tissue which has formed where you had a bruise. It will go with time.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
