Suggest Treatment For Knot On The Head After Head Injury

I hit the side of my head really hard on November 1. Around the week of November 20, I noticed a huge bump on my the side of my head where I hit. I could feel a pulse in that bump, and even today, it s still there. Is it a damaged blood vessel? Is it something that I should be concerned about, or will it go away over time?

It most probably is a hematoma. Like you said yourself it mostly forms due to trauma to blood vessels of the skin. It will absorb on its own. But if you are experiencing Headache,Dizziness, vomiting or an episode of bleeding through the nose or ear then it might indicate somewhat serious damage. In that case only you should visit a doctor. But if its just a bump and no other symptom then you dont need to worry at all.
