Suggest Treatment For Lack Of Balance And Dizziness After Having A Cerebellar Stroke

I have recovered from cerebellar stroke. The only effect on me are lack of balance and dizziness all the time. I want to get rid of these since I have to work to pay off my hospital bills and all. Please recommend a medicine that i could take. My blood pressure is normal.

Hi,

The lack of balance and dizziness you feel is due to the stroke affecting the balance centers in your brain namely the cerebellum. Neurons in the brain requires long time to over come the damage caused by stroke. The only way to recover from stroke and gain functionality is rehabilitation. Performing balance exercises under professional supervision for 3 to 6 months.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
