Suggest Treatment For Large Amount Of Dead Bone On Femur And Top Of Tibia

I have just had an mri scan and it has shown a large amount of dead bone on the femur and on the top of the tibia there is dead bone as well. The cartilage and surrounding tissue gas not yet been damaged. What will the orthopedic surgeon do for treatment. Tramadol is nit working for pain management. Thank you

Occupational Therapist 's  Response
Most likely total knee replacement. Meet with a Physiotherapist / Occupational therapist to significantly reduce your recovery time prior to the actual surgery. Just taking pain meds is not a long term solution.
