Suggest Treatment For Large Lump On The Skull

I have noticed a large size lump that seems to sit between the skin and skull near the back of my head. Over the past year have lost over 100lbs, had major back surgery (lower back) recently have been able to start exercising and gaining back muscles after 2 yrs bed rest. Could the lumpiness because by the quick weight loss or something else?

Hi,

Typically something else. dermatological conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. Without an exam, I can only give general information. So, cancer can cause a lump and weight loss but the lump has serious symptoms--like invading surrounding tissues typically.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
