Suggest Treatment For Large Painful Bump On The Buttock

I hope I am having what it feels like sciatica pain, but I have found a large lump in deep in upper left buttock area. When pushing on this lump I feel no pain. It will move some and is hard. I have no skin problems and I can t seem to get rid of this stinging pain. Could you give me some idea of what this could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to haematoma or growth of masses like fibroma. A physical examination by General surgeon will be helpful to rule out this. You may need to take MRI in case of inconsistency in diagnosis. In case of haematoma it should be drained and if it is fibroma it can be excised under local anesthesia and send for histopathology examination.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
