Suggest Treatment For Large Sore On Back Of Head

I was in Vietnam and exposed to agent orange. I have type II diabetes since 1999. Since I got DM II the rash on my head broke out into a big sore with sweeping and a VA Doctor told me this was from agent orange. Over the last 15 years the big sore has dried up some but it is on the back of my head and would not go away. What can I do?

This big sore or wound behind the head after the diabetes II is called as carbuncle , if involved the skin.
If it is on the scalp may be due to cellulitis .
3rd possibilities is due to hampered blood supply due to atherosclerosis .
Medicinal treatment is one option.
While surgical option is 2nd one.
When such patient visit I first of all regulate the blood sugar level .
Wash this wound with antiseptic solution .
Dry it , now wash this wound with hydrogen peroxide ,so that all the interior part of wound get proper and abundant amount of oxygen.
Now I apply nano silver sulphadiazine ointment ( clean and dressing ) .
Get in blood examination for drug sensitivity test and advise most effective and suitable antibiotics.
Since this treatment is to taken under strict medical supervision ,so consult a surgeon and take this treatment.
Agent orange was causative agent but main reason of such wound is diabetes II.
