Hi,I am Dr. Joan F. Tryzelaar (Cardiac Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was rushed into hospital with suspected heart attack. I have a right bundle branch block and am an asthmatic, ECG was abnormal and my very low blood pressure was even lower still, during the attack I experienced, gasping for breath, sweating, clammy , tingling in both arms but left first and a very slow weak pulse, consultant thinks I may have a leaky valve left side and wants me back in his clinic, what may be the outcome of this? Also I still today have pain in middle of shoulder blades and shoulders and dots in eys on rising.
hello, I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM. I feel your symptoms forcing you to go to ER was due to asthmatic attack.RBBB on ECG needs evaluation.when Diastolic BP(lower BP) is very low a doctor would suspect leaking aortic valve.I suggest you to get your colour doppler echocardiogram done. This will give us complete information about valve.most of your symptoms are related to asthma and you may have acid reflux as well , i would be happy to guide you once i get your echo report My best wishes Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD
