Hello,
Left
shoulder pain may be due to nerve impingement,
frozen shoulder, arthritis, stress-strain, wrong posture while sleeping,
tendinitis, etc. However, it can be indicative of serious medical conditions like developing coronary artery disease or symptoms of
heart failure. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get all blood tests, cardiac function tests,
urinalysis and imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing you symptoms. You will be treated accordingly.
Get connected to a Physiotherapist. Do exercises under him for relieve. You can take NSAIDS, naproxen or combiflam, one SOS for relief. Continue to take Nexium that you have been prescribed. Stay away from addictions (alcohol, tobacco, drugs, etc.). Cold compression may relieve pain. Avoid oily, spicy food. Stay away from red meat, full fat dairy products, trans fat, cheese, carbs, sugar, etc. Take whole well cooked cereals, fruits, veggies, nuts, etc. Do regular walking, maintain healthy weight.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
