Suggest Treatment For Left-sided Neck Pain Radiating Towards Base Of Neck
The back of my head on the left side near my neck has been hurting me for the past three weeks it s been constant. I take excedrine to get rid of the pain but once it wears off the pain comes back. It s a ache like someone hit me in the back of the head. It s hard to explain it s not sharp it s achy.
The pain over left side neck radiating towards base of neck may be related to: - Cervical spondylosis - Acute muscular dystonia involving anterior or posterior triangle of same side neck - Shoulder pathology
Definite treatment requires diagnosis with consultant physician, while primary care must be taken with: - Positional adaptations to avoid sudden jerky movements of neck and shoulder - Do not sleep on same side of neck down to bed - Analgesic like Etoricoxib or Tramadol hydrochloride
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
