Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 77, in excellent health, no prescription meds; I had polio in 1939. I have done well with one foot short and fat and some pain, controlled by a chiropractor and GLucosamine Condroitin w/MSM. My leg pain is seriously increasing. Is this a post polio pain?
If it had been due to polio then it should have started long time ago. This could be due to muscular spasm. I would suggest you to take naproxen twice a day for pain. If it does not improve in 2-3 days then you need to visit hospital for detailed checkup.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. Wishing you good health.
