I got these finger like lesions in the entrance of my vagina.. I noticed them when they started itching really bad. I m 19, still a virgin however my BF has given me Oral sex. I on the other side have not performed any oral sex on him. I don t know if it s an infection or any type of std??
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What finger like lesions you are describing present at the entrance of vagina appears that it could be 'genital warts'. Genital warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). It is considered to be sexually transmitted infection. They are soft finger like growths that appear on the genitals. It appears that you could have contacted it by having oral sex as such warts may also appear on the lips, mouth, tongue or throat of a person. Visible genital warts often go away with time. Topical wart treatments include application of imiquimod or podophyllin and podofilox over the lesions. If visible warts do not go away with time, you may require surgery to remove them by means of one of the following: 1. electrocautery - burning warts with electric currents 2. cryosurgery - freezing warts 3. laser treatment 4. excision - removal by cutting off warts 5. Interferon injections Kindly maintain good personal hygiene. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
