Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed as having Lichen Plano Polaris, All doctors/specialists I have seen say there is no cure for it; I don't believe there is no cure for it. I have tried several suggested cures which haven't worked. I understand it is an autoimmune issue, and I believe a holistic approach would cure it. Can you offer a probable cure?
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The lichen planus has no permanent cure as such. Only the intensity and severity can be controlled. The most commonly used drugs can be systemic or topical steroids or antihelementhics like levamisole or cyclosporins. But all these are not permanent. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
