Thank you, yes. My husband has had chest congestion lingering for weeks. He coughs, but not a lot. He doesn t have a lot of flem yet feels better when taking Musinex. It s keeping him from sleeping well and his chest hurts when he runs in the morning. He s also feeling tired. He visited the Dr today. They did a breathing test; he blew an 800+. They did an EKG and a chest x-ray and sent him home with Proair HFA; a bronchodilator to treat the symptom. He was told if he didn t feel better in a week to come back. No more information or direction. Isn t this treating a symptom and not an illness? And how can we ask more questions and find out what he s thinking without seeming to challenge the Dr.? Any insight on why this was the result of the visit? Thank you.
