i have pulling pain in my lower lip. age 44 , wt 62 history -- showed dentist and his ans was deficiency of vit c. took the med and no effect met physiacian , who said deficiency of b and d3. took treatment and no effect. did oral physiothearpy for 3 months and no effect. neaurologist -- did mri and other vital investigations , took prgabalin for 3 months . still the problem persists. lately i have noticed that there may be less secretion of saliva while speaking. pl guide .

As per your complain pain in lip can be due to nerve damage or can also be due to myofacial pain, lip biting or sucking habit as dry mouth does not seems to be a suitable cause for lip pain.. You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in confirming the cause and treatment can be planned accordingly.. As of now you can take Ibuprofen or Aleve for pain, do warm compresses over the lip and take multivitamin supplements.. If there is feeling of a dry mouth you can chew sugar free chewing gum and suck tart candies.. Drink plenty of water and avoid stress..
