Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.
As per your complain the greyish appearance of tongue can be due to a condition known as
Black Hairy Tongue and it can be due to excess intake of tea and coffee, poor
oral hygiene, overgrowth of tongue papillae and accumulation of dead cells, food debris and overgrowth of bacteria or fungi over tongue..
The black discolouration and peeling of tongue can be exfoliative chelitis as well as inflammation can lead to post inflammatory
hyperpigmentation..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can evaluated your tongue and if hairy tongue is the cause he can advise you to clean your tongue with a tongue scraper, gargle with 1:1 solution of
hydrogen peroxide and water, brush your tongue gently with a soft tooth brush by dipping in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water..
You can also chew hard foods and fruits to clean the tongue by friction..
Maintain a good oral hygiene..
For lip peeling apply thick coat of petroleum jelly or bees wax containing lip balm..
You can apply
ointments containing Tacrolimus and Marigold..
You can also apply creams containing
Kojic acid and arbutin over lips to reduce pigmentation..
You can also apply
Vitamin E gel over the lips..
Drink plenty of water and avoid exposure to cold and dry air..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
