Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Came home Jan 2 saw dr on Jan 5th took blood. They didn't get enough blood, so I had to go back. Daughter was ill so it took a week to get back by that time I had a horrible UTI where I was urinating blood. Admitted to hospital Jan 19 released Jan 20. Recheck Jan 27 that landed me in the ER with Colitis from the antibiotics and thats when they found my little friend on my liver. Shouldn't say friend freeloader is a better defintion. I'm wondering should I go to a specialist, should I not worry?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
You dont describe this liver growth accurately but in most cases this is just a simple cyst and if there are some malignant features it would be told by your doctor. You need just frequent ultrasound follow ups. On the other hands urinary stones are usually small then it should not be treated aggresively since in most cases it passes spontaneously and dissapear with urination. You should just drink plenty of fluids and raspberry tea to promote urination. If you notice fever, blood in urine or pain, you should see urologist and then some invasive procedures may be considered.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
