Suggest Treatment For Liver Condition & Digestive Problems
Hello, my husband has an enlarged liver with inflamed tissue and many, many fatty cysts. His gall bladder was removed and was very diseased. His body had walled it off. He also recently had a biopsy of his prostate and that tissue is inflamed. He has a lot of digestive trouble too. His SED rate is 3 times the normal rate. Any ideas?
Alcohol ingestion and obesity are common causes of fatty liver disease.
Advice for fatty liver:
- abstinence from "Alcohol" - LOW fat diet should be followed, AVOID junk food and beverages - decreased oil consumption (oily food) - NO red meat - green vegetables should be ingested daily - use lemon juice (lemonade) once in a day - reduce weight if overweight/obese - "recheck liver enzymes after 12 to 24 weeks" and/or ultrasound.
Any further questions are welcome. Hope I have answered your concern.
Wish you good health.
Regards, Dr. Tayyab Malik
