we took her to doctor and the doctor said admit her to hospital. we were aunhappy and hence went to another doctor who said give her antibiotics,we gave her antibiotics and the problrms solved ,but the fitst doctor advises after taking her stool test that it was a viral infection and should not be treated with antibiotics.we did that fro 3 days but loose motion continued for another 3 days with reduced frequency of 3 hours/WHAT SHOULD BE DOnE FOR loose motion /admit the child to hospital or give antibiotics, which is better

hi
as such in case of loose motions if the frequency is too much better to get the patient admitted that is to start with iv fluids, do the tests, monitor all the vitals, easy access to the doctors & nursing staff,
avoiding dehydration & giving antibiotics is the first line of treatment
antibiotics in case of viral infection just reduces the secondary infection.
take care
