Hello sir, My son has recently completed 6th month and entered into the seventh month. We have changed his milk powder from Naan pro1 to Naan pro2. From the next day he is having loose motions and his doctor recommended power gyl syrup twice a day.. but today morning we observed a little blood in the motion.. Can you please suggest something for him???

Hi,

The incidence of diarrhea is related to altered gut flora mechanics.

Guidelines at present
- Give more liquids in sessions with boiled water, oral rehydration salt at intervals.
- Addition of zinc suspension helps great.
- Avoid any of the milk formula for further 2-3 days till recovery.
- Observe the urine output and playfulness of the child regularly.

Follow up rest guidelines of his pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
