General & Family Physician 's  Response
Loose motions are mostly caused by infection. Therefore antibiotics are needed. Lomotil will prevent frequency of loose motion but will not cure infection.
Advice
1.     Stop Lomotil
2.     Tablet Norflox TZ every 12 hours per oral after meal for 3 days
3.     Electral powder – dissolve in 1 liter of water and drink frequently.
4.     Eat small, frequent meals to allow the stomach to digest foods gradually
5.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of water daily to avoid dehydration
6.     Investigation – R/E of stool
If above measures do not give relief then go to hospital for further management by intravenous fluids and antibiotics.
