Suggest Treatment For Loose Stools In An Infant

Hi my baby is 3 months 15 days.has loose stools 3 to 4 times a day. In stool examination 2 pus cells/hpf no rbc no blood were reported. But mucus is present and reaction is acidic. Dr has prescribed bacillus clausi spores suspension n lactase enzyme for three days.but after three days the motion again starts.what to do.i m mixed feeding my baby lactogen n breastfeed

Hello,

At this stage, up to 7 stools per day is normal.There is nothing to worry. I will advise you to give exclusive breast feed to your baby. Thanks. No need for any drug or supplement till age of 6 months.
