General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The weight loss would be because of gastric tract pathology and decreased intake too.

TPN or intravascular dietary support may be needed. Also tumor marker like CA 19-9, CEA, CA 125 may also be required. Blood counts for any signs of anemia etc may be needed too.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
