Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Peripheral Vision In Left Eye

I am scheduled for an MRI of the R anterior occipital lobe. I am losing the peripheral vision in my left eye on the right side - primarily lower right side. We have done several field of vision tests, ffERG, VEP, etc. with nothing conclusive to show why. Additionally, an MRI was done to rule out tumor and/or aneurism - clean. Honestly, I am getting a bit scared.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are doing the right thing: undergoing examinations to understand the right diagnosis. It could be aneurism or tumor, perhaps it was since you're born, but showing up just now. We should not precipitate into conclusions until the results of tests are in.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
