Suggest Treatment For Low BP And Dizziness

Hi. I m an overall healthy 68 white male. I walk 4 miles a day and I m 192lbs. I take a beta blocker for a ventricle bundle block, and high blood pressure medicine(130/90). My pressure has been consistently low the last 2 weeks 90/50. I feel energetic, but I am dizzy when standing. I also had a fluctuation in my eyesight (blurry vision) yesterday. My GP says to stop the beta blocker, but my cardiologist says no. I m thinking that I may not need the high blood pressure meds. Any thoughts?

Hi,

Maybe you can decrease the dose or change to some other drug. You have to work with your physician regarding that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
