I went to the doctor last week and was told my blood pressure was too low 98 over something. I do take 10 mg tab of amLodi pine besylate and my doctor said to stop taking but I still feel light headed and dizzy sometimes. I do have a couple glasses of wine at night.. could this be my problem?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Sushant's Response
Hello, In my opinion your doctor has correctly told to stop taking amlodipine as your blood pressure was low. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is required. Estimation of sodium, potassium, hemoglobin and blood sugar levels is also advisable. Further It is advisable to not have wine if you have dizziness. If dizziness persists,an audiological examination of both ears may be needed.
