Pediatrician 's  Response
In hospital setup, we generally give one or two shots of intravenous calcium boluses followed by oral calcium supplementation. If the child is at home, we may directly opt for oral calcium supplements like Syrup Calcimax 2.5 ml thrice daily for 7 days and then follow it up with the treating doctor. Please talk to your doctor and he would be able to take the right steps in this regard.
