Suggest Treatment For Low Energy, Shortness Of Breath And Breathing Difficulty

I have very low energy and a shortness of breath. Would Vitamin b 12 help this situation? I recently travelled to a vacation spot that was about 6000 feet above sea level and had difficulty breathing until I returned to an altitude near sea level. It seems that all I want to do is sleep and I have a low energy level. Would adding Vitamin b 12 to my diet help. I eat healthy with plenty of protein.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

In a person who takes a good diet, and is healthy vitamin b12 deficiency is very unlikely, and hence I don't think it would help you.

The effect may well be caused by travel, high altitude sickness and hence you just need some rest if you are otherwise fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
