Hi,

Low grade fever and hip joint infection most likely acute on chronic arthritis. This is not uncommon following operation. Follow up tests, full hemogram to confirm any bacterial infection in case White Blood Cells are raise. The bone infection needs specific antibiotics like Lincomycin irrigation and your doctor should be able to advice depending of the tests. Its not good to wait for such a delicate ears till Tuesday treat it as emergency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
