I have pain in the knee, hips and shoulder joints, and the muscles of the legs and upper arms. I ve had a low grade fever (99.5) off and on. Dr has me on meloxicam but I m waking up 4 to 5 times a night. Rheumatoid factor is normal as is uric acid, sed rate, white blood cells. Any guess as to what I have? Dave at YYYY@YYYY . Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you need to get a consultation by a rheumatologist and baseline autoimmune profile done meanwhile take analgesics like meloxicam and calcium supplements along with vit D.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
