Suggest Treatment For Low Kidney Function In An Elderly Person
Dear Sir, My father is 77 yrs old, he is suffering in heart problem and doctor said kidney function also very low. Doctor prescribed to take 1. Day time - Clopivas AP 75, Aldactone, Lasix, Pantocid, Zytanix 2.5. Night Time - Anxit -0.5, Atorlip-20. Is it correct tablet? because he is very tired and feel difficult to open his eyes and to sit? Please advise me.
Your father is on tab. Lasix, Aldactone and Zytanix these are all diuretics. So maybe the cause for tiredness. Check his RFT/LFT mainly Electrolytes. It may be electrolyte imbalance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
