i am a 52 year old female, 3 times over the course of my life during routine blood work i have had low platelet count, i don t remember the exact number the first but i was referred to a specialist who did further work ups and concluded that it was caused by something viral and monitored my blood count several times over a year or so, my platelet count went back up. the next time in 2014 i had routine blood work the count was 130, this was not brought to my attention by dr, I noticed it on results. I had routine blood work done last week and again the count is low, office did not give me the exact number , just said that they would monitor it, but said blood work would not be done again until my next routine visit in a year from now. Should I look into this sooner
