Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain And Rectal Bleeding
i have been experiencing abdominal pain first it was to the left of xiphoid process ,if I touch or press it hurt more . took mylanta and zantac seem to help.that was last wed, appetite was poor and still is , discomfort is now lower abdomen , if I eat seems to act up . no fever . or other sxs last month had random rectal bleeding . doc said maybe hemorroids.
Experiencing abdominal pain followed by rectal bleeding could be due to 'amoebiasis'. Kindly take medications containing Secnidazole. Drink a good quantity of water and keep yourself well hydrated.
Despite the above measures, if the symptoms recur, you would need to be examined clinically for hemorrhoids. Kindly consult Surgeon for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
