Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain

I have lower abdomen pain I ve had a hysterectomy in 2004. I had a fever last week I went to the dr. He said it was viral but he gave me z-Pak just in case it got worse. The next day my fever was gone but I have lower abdominal pain I finished the antibiotics but the pain is still there. What do you think it is?

If the pain is still present, you need to be reviewed. Lower abdominal pain can be related to any structure in the area such as the bladder, intestines (eg diverticular disease) or ovaries if still present.

Your abdomen would need to be reassessed. A urine analysis would be needed and imaging if there is no obvious causes.

Treatment would depend on the cause found.
