Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain After Lifting Heavy Objects
Lifted a case of water and felt a pop on my right side lower back and it hurts to walk i lay down and it doesnt hurt only when i try to get up.is it a nerve that i pulled?and what is your recomendation to easy the pain?and final.how long does the pain last.? Thank you.
It sounds like you may have injured one of the discs of your lower back. I would advise against bending forward and lifting heavy objects until you get it checked out.
In my practice, I would recommend an MRI of the lumbar spine to assess the degree of injury. Then, the options of treatment would be pain killers and physiotherapy. The pain and the treatment for disc problems can be for months, but handled properly, they can resolve within weeks.
All the best.
