Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain And Heavy Menstrual Bleeding

I started my menses yesterday it was dark brown with what appeared to be clots or tissue,today it has been normal red color with some small clots however I am using many more tampons/pads than I normally use currently on my 10th regular tampon of day n 3 or 4 pad. My periods are usually always heavy n long but not this much. Currently working with doctors and waiting on test to diagnose servers lower back pain I have been suffering from for 2-3weeks now. I did have a endometrial biopsy done a couple weeks ago, vaginal ultrasound done 2days ago and am on my last two doses of a almost 2 weeks steroid treatment. Should I be going to er?

Hello,

You may be suffering from dysfunctional uterine bleeding or endometriosis or anaemia or polyps or pid or fibroids.

Get it done ultrasound abdomen, urine examination, endometrial biopsy.

Check for bacterial or fungal infection. Thyroid profile and serum electrolytes and haemoglobin status.

Use tablet tranexamic acid twice a day for five days. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
