Lower
back pain is common which can be resulted from various underlying health conditions such as strains to muscles or tendons in the back, bulging or ruptured disks, spinal degeneration and injury,
arthritis, structural problems and many more. Some medications and measures may help to ease the lower back pain.
Along with your present medications, you can also take muscle relaxants like
baclofen, calcium and
vitamin D3 and apply heat or cold compresses on the painful area may subside your back pain. Again, proper rest, keeping good posture, maintaining a healthy weight,
physical therapy etc., also help to reduce your back pain. But, if your lower back pain persists for long or keeps getting worse as time goes by, then you should consult your doctor promptly for further evaluation and medical treatment.
